Cancellation Policy

The salon requires a credit card number to reserve your appointment. We understand busy schedules and different circumstances can not be avoided so we are happy to cancel your appointment with 24 hours notice. If any cancellation is not made with 24 hours notice or more, you will be charged 50% of the service fee. Missed appointments are subject to be charge the full amount and a future appointment may be rejected until full payment of these no showed appointments.



late arrival policy

Exceeding 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time may be to late to accommodate. Please keep in mind that if you run late it makes your stylists day run behind the rest of the day.

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure on time or potentially early start time!

  • If you are running late please call the salon 306-761-0890. Depending on how late, rescheduling may be the only option.

no show policy

Not showing up to your scheduled appointment will result in a 100% fee of scheduled service & cancellation of all future appointments until your service fee is paid in full. This also goes for cancellation fees as well as stated above.

  • To avoid this we do have a text & email reminder system which sends date & time of appointment reminders with the ability to confirm your appointment with us, please make sure your cell phone # and email is up to date to help you with reminders of appointments we schedule for you. OR have us write it on a business card for you to take home with you.

  • During your time at the salon we ask that you respect the personal experience that each guest is having. Please turn phones on silent or at the very least on vibrate so that ring tones, videos or games are not disturbing the other guests.

  • Saffyre Salon is family oriented, HOWEVER we do ask that any children under the age of 13 MUST NOT be left un attended in any area of the salon. If your child must come with you during your appointment we ask that you bring them a quiet activity for the duration of your appointment.

  • Children should not climb, stand or play on any salon equipment, they should not spin or pump up salon chairs, or jump on and play around the sink area. For their safety the stylist and other guests children should NEVER run through the salon. Parents will be charged the FULL PRICE of repairing or replacing any damaged equipment resulting from misuse by their children.

    • **keep in mind that each of our stylists use sharp scissors, hot tools and chemical products that can be harmful to skin and eyes. Should your children be disrupting to other guests & or stylists, or not acting respectfully following these rules, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment and pay a service fee**

  • We love the children that come in to get services done with us, however we like to remind everyone to keep in mind that we are a professional servicing business and have other guests here that come to enjoy some alone time or quiet relaxing time while being pampered.

 

for better results and time efficiency, here are some tips for before your appointment:

  1.  Blondes: Come with day old hair. Dirty hair is important because the cuticle is already open allowing chemical services to have better end results. But not too dirty, one day is sufficient.

  2.  Colours: Come with clean, dry hair. The colour will have less work to do penetrating the hair shaft. If you have extremely curly hair, please try to smooth it out with either a round brush or blow dryer prior to your appointment.

  3. Extensions: Come with clean, dry hair for any installation services as well as any removal and re-install services. If you would like to have a wash and blowout with your extension service please book that additionally! If you are doing color the same day as your extensions you will get a wash and don’t need to book a blowout as extra!

  4. Please avoid wearing your best outfit. Although we try to practice cleanliness, it's hard to avoid possible colour and/or bleach stains in the process.

  5. Bring one to three photo references to show what look you're inspired by. This will ensure you and your stylist are clear on what the finished result should be. Showing more than three photos may cause miscommunications.

Near us you will find Browns Social House, I Love Sushi, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, Tim Hortons, Husky Gas Station & more! In the same strip mall you will find Taco Del Mar, Subway, Brandt Developments & Eastgate Dental.

We have an abundance of free parking with no time limits, we are wheelchair accessible and absolutely everyone is welcome in our salon. Can’t wait to have you in our little oasis!
